Other beaches include Puka Beach in Yapak, measuring 800 meters which used to be abundant in puka shells and was witnessed by the old-time travelers in the island; Din-iwid Beach is a 200-meter long beach, with its access path from the edge of the white beach for your picnic plans or romantic time with your partner as you shelter yourselves in the shadow of the cliffs and big rocks along this quiet beach; Balinghai Beach, is a farther area from the white long beach, perfect for snorkeling; Bunyagan Beach, populated with coconut trees, gives you the cast-away ambiance; Ilig-iligan Beach has its caves and coves to explore and despite its rough and downward slope passage, is still accessible by motorbike, tricycle, bicycle or can be reached by boat as well; Bolabog Beach known as the other side of the island is crowded by windsurfing and kite surfing enthusiasts during the first quarter of the year when the strong winds excite the annual competition; Cagban Beach serves as an official port to the mainland during peak season and becomes a quiet place when the port transfers its activities to Tambisaan in the low season; Manoc-Manoc Beach is the first beach you will see as you approach the island from Caticlan. |
